There are many questions in this book that provide practice in the analysis of experimental data. Even though questions of this type are often used to assess how students have assimilated biological concepts, still many students are not well acquainted with such questions.

This book also contains questions based on photographs of real objects, as well as questions based on electro-micrographs of specimens. After working through all these questions, students should have little or no difficulty in recognizing the main anatomical parts of these organisms.

Marks are given at the end of each sub-question. These marks are provided as a rough guideline so that students can allocate the amount of time they should spend on a particular sub-question. All answers should be concise. Students should avoid padding their answers with extraneous material.
