孫過庭工文辭，擅草書，師法二王，宋代米芾以為“凡唐草得二王法，無出其右”。 《書譜》，孫過庭撰並書於垂拱三年（687），歷來被譽為“詞翰雙絕”：既是唐代著名的書法理論著作，也是後人學習草書之*範本。 本書所刊紙本墨蹟，現藏於台北故宮博物院。
