《古文觀止》是清代康熙年間吳楚材、吳調侯選編的一部古代散文集。 吳楚材、吳調侯叔侄二人是浙江山陰（今紹興）人，據《嘉慶山陰縣誌》記載，吳楚材名乘權，"年十六病瘺，日閱古今書，數年疾愈而學以此富。 "其所編的幾部書中，《綱鑒易知錄》也廣為人知，但影響非常大的還是《古文觀止》。
