Yumi Sakugawa is a comic book artist, illustrator, and the author of I Think I Am in Friend-Love with You and Your Illustrated Guide to Becoming One with the Universe. A graduate from the fine art program of University of California, Los Angeles, she is a regular comic contributor to WonderHowTo (www.wonderhowto.com) and The Rumpus (www.therumpus.net). Her short comic stories have been selected as Notable Comics of 2012 and 2013 by the Best American Comics Anthology editors (Houghton Mifflin Harcourt), and her comic works have also been published in Bitch, The Best American Nonrequired Reading 2014, Folio, Fjords Review, Slake, and other publications.
