《破邪論》，係初唐法琳（572-640）為應對傅奕（555-639）之非佛言論所著，本書承接了南北朝三教論辯中之幾項重大政、教問題意識，總結、重整了南北朝以來的護法經驗與知識，徵引了豐富的傳統經史文獻乃至儒、道、佛三教之典事文證，從而開啟了有唐一代護法運動的先聲。本書可視為中古破邪顯正文化思潮之另一顯象，而有其不容忽視之文獻價值。
