本書系南宋王宗傳所作《易》傳，是宋代理學興起后以心性釋《易》的代表作。全書三十卷，本次整理以南宋開禧元年（1205）刊本為底本，以通志堂本、四庫本為校本，並參校了四庫薈要本。（宋刊本所缺之卷二十三、二十四則以通志堂本為底本）。
王宗傳，字景孟，福建寧德縣八都鄉童溪人。生活於南宋中期，著名易學家。
