《物的分析》是羅素的一部重要著作，於1927年在英國出版。羅素在完成了其第二部著作，即《論幾何學的基礎》后，就把注意力轉向了物理學的哲學基礎問題；他通常稱之為「物的問題」，或簡稱「物」。羅素對物理學哲學的思考的結果就凝結在這本《物的分析》中。在《物的分析》中，邏輯構造是解決物理學真理性問題的關鍵所在。羅素在其中借助於奧康剃刀原理，從本體論的角度對一些哲學概念進行了探討。
